vM MP470 Media Player
 
Description
The Van Medevoort MP470 Media Player is designed for media lovers. The heavy, rigid vM housing is used to minimize resonances and mechanical distortion. The optical CD/DVD/Blu-Ray transport mechanism and HDD are mounted on a multiple layer sub chassis with vibration absorption and use an elastic suspension to isolate against acoustic feedback. Only audiophile quality components are used in the power supplies and the digital circuits. Special clocks are used on the sound card for perfect timing, but also to minimize jitter and phase noise. Software control is available by using a Mouse / Keyboard / Smartphone / Tablet. Next to the digital coaxial RCA and XLR outputs, for SPDif and AES-EBU, there is also an optical and even a Q-Link i2s and DSD native output available to match and connect to the digital input of external DAC’s like the vM DA360 or DA470.
